the little guy actually turns three on wednesday, but we had the bash on saturday. grandma always comes through with a great cake, and she did not disappoint this time with a full on construction extravaganza! there was a dump truck a digger and a scooper. and the cake was good, too.
it didn't take long for the cake to be all over eli's face. and soon after that, the construction crew got busy and started excavating the cake. it was evident that even good things can go too far when eli started eating cake out of the scoopers bucket. it was a great night, thanks to all of those in attendance and all the well wishers, too!
