well, it's finished! i put the bar tape on at the shop before i left tonight, and i'm quite pleased. it looks sharp, and came in at a feathery 16lbs, 13oz. on the scale! yee haw. not at all bad for an aluminum bike in this age of carbon everything. and yes, those are spoked wheels.tyson was very excited about it, too.

16 lbs, 13 oz?!?!??! Good grief! That is freakin' awesome!! My Scott only dips under 17 when it has the race wheels on it. hey, is that "big shark racing" sticker on there factory installed/clearcoated? That is the high heat if it is! Damn.
The bikes I dream about owning right now: a fixed gear, a sweet hardtail mtn. bike, a cool urban-assault beater bike kinda thing...
yeah, i'm surprised myself. that's pretty light! those decals are factory installed and clearcoated. those cannondale people really treat us right.

Glad you like the Bike TK. Your build looks nice, make sure you let me know about those wheels. I have heard many different things but would like to know for sure.
