Car Watching: 1960 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Ah, just when you think it's been too long since you've seen an edition of Car Watching, along comes this beauty.  A 1960 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible.  My camera can not do this car justice.  The blue is stunning in person.  The body is excellent.  The interior was incredible.
Grrrr, a mean front end for a car housing a 283ci V8.  250 to 290 horsepower were on tap, and there was a fuel injected option.  Yes, FUEL INJECTION.  Not the boon that it is today, but the Corvette was no stranger to bad ass technology even in 1960.
There is not a bad angle on the 1960.  Indeed a beautiful sports car.
The interior.  Great stuff here.  The dash is full of gauges and switches and dials.  Very well cared for, or recently remodeled...this one impresses.  It's a manual transmission, of course, a four-speed.
Wonderful view here, too.  Almost a boat tail.  The 1960 had it's tail lights on the ridges of the fenders, which I really like.
Click on the photo and you can see the tail pipe inside of the bumper opening.  Trick.  Love it.
Another view of the cockpit.  Just too cool for words.
