here is the final build of the new cx9. of course, i won't be running the schwalbe road tubulars, but you get the point. it tips the scales at 16lbs, 6oz as it sits. it will weigh more when it gets the real tires on it. it will serve double duty throughout the winter as my road bike, using my ROL powertap wheels on the road.
delicious!

I dig the white stem. You can count on TK to be at the forefront of bicycle fashion.
Other than a picture of Sarah Palin that I stumbled across today, that is the sexiest thing I've seen all day. I just told someone today at work that they'd have to pry my Orbea Alma outta my cold, dead hands but man....I loves me a white bike. Nicely done.
thanks guys. sarah notwithstanding, ted mccrae is my fashion weathervane. he was sporting a white stem earlier in the season and i'm nothing if not a plagiarist.
Are you sure it wasn't my email inquiring about a white stem for my mountain bike that spurred this decision? Something's rotten in Denmark.
hmmm. yes, you did. so i have you AND ted to thank!

Two things here, Timmy. First, do you ralize how much weight there is to be saved with a non-STI left lever!!?? Secong, I hope you're considering Challenge Grifo 34's or Dugast Typhoon 34's for those sick hoops. really. Are those TRP CT90's I spy on there? those are badass. Looking forward to Hermann and yo lapping me.
oh, i don't know. i never did like the feel of a non-sti lever. i have to ride this thing everyday, not just to 'cross races. those cross tires are too expensive for my blood. i don't know if i can justify pricey tires while YOU AND I BOTH are getting lapped!!! we'll see, let's get through hermann first!
